Comic Review: Iron Man #168
Iron Man #168
Writer: Denny O’Neil
Penciller: Luke McDonnell
We see a robot get into a fight with iron man, the robot mistaking iron man as another robot, but Tony Stark is drunk the whole issue, and then Tony Stark goes downhill by the end of the comic. Fun to read the end part, the robot wasn’t very deep of a character. Good character development for Tony though. The artwork was average, and the story sort of average.

Comic Review: Iron Man #142
Iron Man #142
Writer: David Michellinie
Penciller: John Romita Jr.
Great story cram packed with action, SHIELD bothers iron man for a new top secret event, and then there’s a big fight with a Jupiter Lander, and then Iron Man tries out his space suit. Artwork is perfect. There’s some side character stories, and just how do you have the life of Tony Stark when the world always needs Iron Man. Cliff hanger ending. The story and art work would work great as a movie.

Comic Review: Iron Man #119
Iron Man #119
Writer: David Michelinie
Penciller: John Romita Jr.
Iron man is on the SHIELD helicarrier solving a crisis, Lots of action, and he saves SHIELD who latter turn on him for his effort. Great Marvel story, would work well in a movie. The story stands on it’s own as a good story, next issue should be great. The artwork was excellent, everything drawn perfectly.

Comic Review: Iron Man #100
Writer: Bill Mantlo
Penciller: George Tuska
Great action, the whole story through, Iron man having found the castle of the mandarin fights the mandarin, with a side story of a person he saved in the last issue, Great climax to a story arch. But the ending was lacking, basically didn’t make much sense, they were trying to be philosophical, but it didn’t wrap up the story. It was a good fight story, even if it wasn’t a story that stood alone on its own very well. Need to read the lead up comics. Great artwork, no mistakes, well placed lines and told the story well.
